Xiaomi Reveals New Wireless AR Smart Glass Discovery Edition at Mobile World Congress (MWC) - Techsary
Xiaomi is the biggest smartphone manufacturing giant company. This time Xiaomi has reveals new wireless AR smart glasses. At Mobile World Congress (MWC) they unveiled its new wireless AR smart glass. As they called it, it's a concept pair of wireless smart Ar glass. This AR smart glass pairs with your phone or other devices or any wireless devices. This AR smart glass is similar to Meta Quest 2 VR Headsets also. The AR glasses use Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Gen 1 chipset.

Xiaomi AR smart glass also features two Micro OLED screens with "retina-level" resolution that are free-form light-guiding prism. Its incorporated also three camera systems that are used to see the user's surrounding place. It has also a brightness of up to 1200 nits per eye. This is more of a glass prototype and it's being such an amazing smart glass. That Micro OLED display has 58 pixels per degree (PPD). The company has not shared the full specifications of the AR smart glass edition.

The XDA developers explained all the details. They also mentioned that it felt ready for production. But the issue is, it has a short battery life. Now they are trying to improve this issue, improved battery life, and others issues. Besides, these AR smart glasses are just compatible to uses smartphones and some apps, and games. The AR smart glass can be connected to a wireless device with a latency of a maximum of 50ms. That is the worrying matter of AR glass.

The company still works to improve its more user-friendly battery life. They work with Qualcomm to compatibility with smartphones.
Xiaomi didn't clear the price of the AR smart glass editions.
